GARDNER

MEET, RACHEL HINTERBERG

Hello! My name is Rachel and I love gardening! I started my garden journey in 2020 when we moved into a new house and I quickly realized it's something I want to do forever. I grew up in southeastern Wisconsin and this area is considered your typical midwestern climate, (zone 5), with 4 seasons, although sometimes it feels like 2; hot & freezing. We can have harsh winters at -25 F with the wind and tropical high humid summers.

I'm also a wife, mom, I love cooking, reading, and Disney!

My hope is that you'll either be inspired by or learn from my blog/videos, or I can help you plant your own annuals if you live in the area. This coming year I will be trying to grow my own flowers. Some day I hope to own a flower farm.

Thank you for visiting!

ANNUAL VS PERRENIAL

"THE 'AMEN' OF NATURE IS ALWAYS A FLOWER"

What is an Annual?

An annual is a plant you need to plant yearly depending on your

growing zone. Flowers like patunias, geraniums, and impatients grow

bountifully and then die off.*

What is a Perennial?

A perennial is a plant that comes back in spring. Evergreen shrubs, lilacs, lavender, and some vanities of roses can survive a harsh cold winter.*

Let's Work Together

I don't consider myself a "landscaper" as I wont be mowing lawns, or treating insects. My passion is creating sudden impact in your flower beds by planting a mix of perennials and annuals.

If that's what your looking for, let's chat!
